The Zoo with Mally!!

Sunday was a fun filled day! Parker and I went to the zoo with my best friend Diane and her cutie, Mallory. We went mid morning and it was the perfect time to go! No crowds and 70 degree weather.
Parker and Mallory are getting so cute together!! I cant wait for Mallory to start walking because they will be unstoppable!!

By the time we left it was in the 90s. It was definitely time to go and both kids took great naps (isnt that every mothers goal??)
Isnt Mallory's hair just precious in a "palm tree" pony tail!! Ugggh! I love it!!
They absolutely loved the train!

Every time the horn blue, Parker had to do his "chooo-chooo" move.
Mallory loved it too =)
Diane and Mallory, thanks for the FUN day!!

Happy Anniversary

Six years ago I married my best friend!
(picture below: wedding day October 9, 2010)
We have been through so much since we met over 8 years ago, but all of it has made our relationship that much stronger! We are perfect for each other and balance each other so well. He is the best husband, father and provider. I thank the Lord everyday for putting this amazing man in my life and giving us a beautiful family!

Last night Dennis' mom kept Parker (thanks, Granny!) so that we could go eat and to a movie! We had such a great time. We ate at a new yummy restaraunt and sat on the patio, the weather was just perfect!

Before we left

And you know Parker had to be in a picture!

Happy 6th Anniversary, Dennis
I love you!!

Happy Fall!

I saw a project that I just had to try. I painted one of pumpkins with chalk board paint.

It was so easy. I just put tape on the stem so that it would not get paint on it and then spray painted the pumpkin with chalkboard paint. Parker is having fun "coloring" on the pumpkin.
The picture really doesnt show it all that well, trust me. Its cute =)

I thought I would show yall some of my very FEW fall decorations. I just love my wreath, I got it a few years ago and I think it really brightens up the door.
My front porch, we always get two corn stalks and frame the porch with them. We also have a huge spider that we put on one side, I just havent gotten it out yet. The mums look kinda sad, but they just havent bloomed yet.

We got the neatest pumpkins this year from the pumpkins patch, they had 6 different kinds. The front pumpkin is called a Cindarella pumpkin. I just love it!!
My most favorite halloween decoration is a hat that my grandmother made me when I first got married. It is a straw hat that she made to look like a witch's face. It hangs on a door and I usually keep in on the garage door until halloween and then I replace the wreath on the front door for the trick or treaters.
Happy Fall, Yall!!

Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday morning we went to the pumpkin patch!! Have I said that I LOVE this time of year! Parker was so fun this year. He actually wanted to pick out the perfect pumpkin and loved all of the activities.
We went to a new pumpkin patch this year and it was so great!! And it was pretty close to our house. There was a hay maze, a corn box (like a sand box but with corn), hay ride and so much more.

This pumpkin that Parker picked out was a little heavy....

So, uncle Justin helped him.

Parker got a little tired so he decided to ride with the pumpkin in the wagon.
Then he wanted to pull the wagon.

After the fun time at the pumpkin patch we went to a park by the river to have a picnic. When I was little we went to this park every Saturday to play and have a picnic. It was so fun to take Parker.

My sweet family
This weekend was so fun! On Saturday night we went to a fundraiser for my old high school. It was back to the 80's theme. I didnt take pictures....Im sure you can imagine!!
My next post I will show the project I did with some of the pumpkins and some fall decor. I dont do much decorating for fall but I love that I can do a little and it lasts until Thanksgiving.
Have a great week!!
