Soccer and Tailgating...pretty great weekend

First of all, look at my big boy....This is is his K4 yearbook picture for the 2012-2013 school year. It is truely unbelievable that he is this old!

Parker started soccer this weekend. They have practice for 30 mintutes and then they have a game. Parker loved practice but he did not love the actual game. He didnt like that everyone has to share one ball during the game. He wanted his own ball to kick in the goal. This is not something I could prepare him for and it was just not a fun time.

He had practice last night and he LOVED it, but he had his own ball. At the end of practice was a short scrimage. He did ok with this "game" but still was sad that he didnt get his own ball. I think it will just take a little while for him to understand the concept. This is his first time to be on a team and play a sport. I am just amazed that he can even play soccer, if you had asked me 2 years ago...I would have said "no way, he will get too tired." I am so proud of him!

Parker went home with Granny and Papa after his soccer game and we went tailgating for the first Razorback game in Little Rock this year. Tailgating in Little Rock is soooo much fun! The entire War Memorial golf course is packed full of cars and tents.

It is one of my favorite things to do during football season!! AND the weather was absolutely perfect the entire weekend!!

The day is full of delicious food, fun and we always see so many friends!

We didn't have tickets to the game, we just tailgated =)

To keep this post happy and up beat, I will just leave it at that and not even mention the outcome of the game.

Still love my Hogs!

Have a great week!
