Mrs "A", big boy class and school

Since I was born Mrs. "A" (that's what everyone calls her!) has kept me in the church nursery, after school care and has also kept Parker in the nursery and Mothers Day Out. Well, Mrs. "A" is retiring and Sunday there was a reception to celebrate and thank her for all of her years of service. She truely is like a grandmother to me and I just love this wonderful Christian lady.
Here is Mrs. "A", Parker and me
Isn't she so cute. She always has a story to tell and a hug to give! She knows every child's name and always has a smile on her face! I know I will still see her all the time but I am kinda sad that Parker wont get to grow up with Mrs "A" as his teacher, like I did.

This week, on Sept 1st, Parker moved up to the two year old class at preschool!!! He isnt two yet but they need some room in his class so they moved up the 3 most developed kids. I cant believe that Parker is one of the "oldest" acting kids in his class! So, now Parker is in a class with 2 year olds and he looks so little but they said he is right in the middle of them playing and is keeping up great! I am still kinda nervous because this class is where they start POTTY TRAINING! I know Parker isnt ready for that yet but it is scary to know that he is so close!! Potty training him might be a little tricky due to the fact that he is taking Lasix (Lasix is a diuretic and it makes you have to pee-pee :) ). We will definitely take it slow when we know he is ready.

Also, this week is my 3rd week in nurse practitioner school. WOW! Its hard and sometimes I question why I am doing this. I am starting to get the hang of it and I really do like it. Please pray for me. It isnt easy with a toddler at home!

I also have another prayer request....Parker has an appointment at the ENT next week to evaluate him for tubes. I havent really blogged about it much, but this summer has been one constant ear infection. He has been diagnosed with 6 ear infections since the end of May! We just finished another round of antibiotics and he actually seems to be feeling pretty good this time. I will be ok if he needs tubes, but of course I will be a little nervous about the actual procedure. His will probably be a little different because of his heart defect. I will let yall know what they say.

Hope everyone has a great rest of the week.....
I am sooooo excited about Razorback football this weekend! Fall is finally here!!

GO HOGS GO!!
