Ala Carte and Cory's Show

Last night was very busy for Dennis and I. Dennis' parents came over right after work to keep Parker for the evening. It was nice to go out with just me and my guy. We had a fundraiser for Arkansas Children's Hospital called Arkansas Ala Carte. It is so fun because there are 25 different restraunts passing out samples! There was every kind of food you could imagine, even one of my favorite places, Cupcakes!!!! There was also a silent auction. Dennis had his heart set on a basketball autographed by the 1994 championship Razorback basketball team (the entire team!!). I had to tell him no when the bidding got up to $1,200!! He was so sad. BUT....I won something!! I won this platter and a free cake from Community Bakery! I have had my eye on this platter for the longest time. It says "Happy Everything" and it has detatchable pieces (like a birthday cake, Christmas tree, Thanksgiving Turkey). It is perfect for any occassion!

Mom and Me at Ala Carte (and that is my grandmother in the backgound!)

After we were stuffed to the brim and happy about my win, we headed dowtown to Cory's show at the Rev Room. He did so good, but now I am sad because he left to go on tour for a couple of months. I will miss him!
Cory--doing his thing
This is what my Mom thought of the show (clubs really arent her thing!)

I can't believe I have gone through an entire post without a picture of Parker. Dont worry!! Here is my cutie!!

I think Parker wants to join Cory's band!
